Madrid protests: faces of an October revolution

Madrid’s central square, the Plaza de Puerta de Sol, was proclaimed ‘full’ ('lleno') over loudspeakers at around 9pm on Saturday 15 October. It’s not a first for the emblematic site of what began as a European revolution and has quickly caught fire to become a global one. 15 October saw the ‘indignant movement’ take place for over 80 countries worldwide, as people stepped out onto their own 'Puertas del Sol' and 'made change happen'.
