Unesco recognises 21 February as ‘international mother language day’, so we went and had a little toast in the most babelian cafe in the French capital, the Polyglot cafe. Created in 2002, weekly meetups allow over 200, 000 members worldwide to have a bash at their language skills. A la votre ! Salute ! Cheers !
