In an exclusive interview at the Lyon-based television channel Euronews, the son of the Libyan dictator and former LSE student claimed that the revolt in his country would be ‘over in 48 hours’, and that any UN decision would be ‘too late’. As for the French president who jumped the gun for Europe by being the first to support the Libyan rebels as official representatives for the country, Gaddafi Jr announced that Libya was waiting for the ‘clown’ to pay back the 2007 presidential campaign donations they had made.
