Two erasmus exchange students road trip from Amsterdam to Auschwitz, inspired by Etty Hillesum‘s diary (1941-1943), which testifies to an unflagging faith in humans at a time when they were perpetrating their blackest deeds. ‘I know everything, yet life is beautiful to me and full of meaning. At every moment,’ the 27-year-old Jew in Amsterdam wrote.  Watch the three-part movie in seven languages on our babelblog ‘Chez Moi in Europe” (‘at home in Europe‘). Co-funded by the EU commission and foundation of judaism in Belgium, the film will be shown in Auschwitz on the 65th anniversary of the camp’s liberation on 27 January 2010
