Trouble sometimes brews for those citizens living under the coco trees, in the so-called ultra-peripheric regions of Europe too. In January and February for example, the French from Guadeloupe and Martinique went on strike against high prices, whilst African migrants boats continued to dock on Canarian ports, the Turks and Caicos prime minister resigned under allegations of corruption and Greenland voted for even more independance.
