europe_is I have always lived in my small city, General Alvear, to the South of Mendoza, my province. General Alvear has a population of 40.000 inhabitants. The capital city is close to the Atuel,one of the rivers that flow across the province. The main activity of this place is the agriculture, with farms full of fruit trees, and grapevines. We are famous the world over (my province) because our wines are among the best. Lately, people have turned to cattle raising too, as a variation of production, and they raise quality breed cattle. /

why_participate To me, Europe is a far-away place which I would like to know and understand. Is not entirely strange to me, since my grandparents came from Spain. I admire the way in which so many different countries have been able to unite, without losing their own identities. I think that a union of that kind would be very difficult to achieve in America. /

living_places I have many preferred dishes. I like pasta a lot, especially ravioli and gnocchi, but I also like barbecued ribs, which in my country are said to be the best in the world. /
