PDL – el nuevo partido presidencial
A primeros de diciembre, Emil Boc (PD) y Theodor Stolojan (PLD) han comunicado la fusión de los propios partidos de quienes son presidentes, dentro de una nueva fuerza política en Rumania: el Partido Demócrata Liberal. Por lo demás, la fusión, aunque infirmada oficialmente, era previsible mucho antes de las elecciones parlamentarias, porque no hay ningún misterio en que Theodor Stolojan es cercano a Basescu, el PLD recibiendo ayuda por parte del PD en la campaña electoral, a las directivas del “maestro”.
