Hungarian French artist Victor Vasarely museum under threat of closure

Now, it may be the end of the line for the Museum Foundation Vasarely in Aix en Provence. Visitors to the museum have long been noticing the damp and collapsing ceilings that threaten the spectacular building with closure. The petition can be signed here

Dear Naomi O'Leary, As the new president of the Vasarely Foundation, since the 21st of July 2009, I can confirm to you that noneless the difficulties from the past, the new board of the Foundation does its best to restore its reputation. Our petition was successful and confirmed the importance of the building which will be soon recognized as a historical monument. With the support of the french government, sponsors and "the friends of the Vasarely Foundation, Claire and Victor Vasarely's will is to be fully respected. @Jack O'Banjo in the French version - wasn't Aicher just in charge of the general design and mascot? Haven't read specifically that he was Munich logo designer
