Relatives have made various attempts to acquire personal possession of his art-works. Vasarely’s step-mother was arrested for theft in Chicago in 2008 after she was caught moving hundreds of Vasarely’s works from one clandestine storage space to another

Dear Naomi O'Leary, As the new president of the Vasarely Foundation, since the 21st of July 2009, I can confirm to you that noneless the difficulties from the past, the new board of the Foundation does its best to restore its reputation. Our petition was successful and confirmed the importance of the building which will be soon recognized as a historical monument. @Jack O'Banjo in the French version - wasn't Aicher just in charge of the general design and mascot? Haven't read specifically that he was Munich logo designer
