CaféBabel Lisboa wins European Prize Carlos Magno for Youth 2009 in Portugal

The project CafeBabel Lisboa won the national competition of the “European Prize Carlos Magno for Youth 2009”, of the European Parliament. This way, the project of the Lisbon team will go through to the second phase of the competitions, now at an European scale, representing Portugal on the competition against the projects of the other Member-States.

On May 19th 2009, in Aachen, Germany, the three winners will be revealed, receiving monetary prizes and also being invited to visit the European Parliament.

This award is an initiative of the European Parliament and of the Foundation of the International Prize Carlos Magno, aiming to award projects that promote the European understanding.
