Following the proposals made by former Prime Minister Jean-Luc Dehaene and the declarations by the French-speaking parties that they will not suffice, the Open VLD (Flemish Liberals) announced this morning they withdrew their trust in the federal government.
Yves Leterme, the Prime Minister convened a cabinet meeting at 1PM, after which he is likely to go to the Royal Palace to present his resignation to King Albert II.
