A greek wine in the Top 100 of ''Wine Spectator''

A Greek wine was found among the 100 best wine of the world according to the U.S. magazine «Wine Spectator». The "Assyrtiko Koutsiogiannopoulos Santorini'' is is according to the American journal, the" Ambassador of Greece to the world of wine''. The wine took the 86th position, taking 91 points, out of 100.
It is the first time a Greek wine was included in the «Top 100» annual edition of the famous U.S. magazine, which, indeed, is known for its secret tastings conducted by the authors, and is considered as the most objective.Diplomatic circles said that the «Wine Spectator» plays an important role in shaping consumer awareness in the business of wine, and occupies a prominent position in the cellars and wine sale. Indeed, the four offices of financial affairs of Greek diplomatic service in the U.S. have seen more often in the American press reports in favor of Greek wine, which probably means it is time for action for the producers of our country.
