Hidden wonders
![]()
Iceland has more than its fair share of natural wonders and is largely undiscovered by tourists. The interior is uninhabitable in winter and can be difficult to access during the summer. Most interior areas will have snow on the ground year round and this year it was unusually persistent. But there are plenty of accessible sites that are fantastically beautiful. If you spend the effort and go off the beaten track, hidden wonders await.
